About the institution

A Bangladeshi institution of scholarship in service of the Al-Aqsa cause.

From Dhaka, through research, teaching and publishing — and in academic partnership with the Hayʾat ʿUlamāʾ Filasṭīn — we bring authentic scholarship on Palestine and Al-Quds to the people of Bangladesh.

01 — Our story

Mu'assasat al-Nahda al-Islamiyya Bangladesh was founded on a firm conviction: that the question of Al-Aqsa is not a passing news headline, but a scholarly and religious trust carried by every Muslim generation.

We began with a small circle of students, translators and researchers in Dhaka, with one aspiration: that Bangladesh too should have an institution of scholarship that speaks its own language and brings the Al-Aqsa cause into the minds of its people.

Today we work as an independent Bangladeshi institution, in academic partnership with the Hayʾat ʿUlamāʾ Filasṭīn and in scholarly cooperation with researchers from Palestine, the Arab world and Türkiye — to build what cannot be built in a single season: an institutional memory that serves the cause across decades.

02 — Our values
01

Scholarship before emotion

Everything we publish — article, lecture or report — rests on primary sources and documented scholarly review.

02

Four languages, one voice

We publish in Arabic, Bangla, English and Turkish — so no reader is denied access to the knowledge.

03

An institution, not a campaign

We build a permanent archive, not a seasonal wave. What is written today will be read decades from now.

04

Institutional independence

No partisan affiliation, no government funding. Our loyalty is to the truth and to the sources alone.

03 — Our methodology
01

Source first

We return to the Qur'an, the Sunnah and to original historical and legal documents before any secondary commentary.

02

Double scholarly review

Every paper passes through two reviews: one by a specialist scholar, one by a field researcher.

03

Cultural, not literal translation

We adapt voice to each language. A Bangla reader is not a Turkish reader, and neither is an Arabic reader.

04 — Leadership & partners

The institution is governed by a scholarly council of Bangladeshi scholars and researchers, working in academic partnership with the Hayʾat ʿUlamāʾ Filasṭīn and a number of universities and research bodies. Full profiles of council members will be published shortly.
